France Bleu Isère in Chamrousse for a live radio broadcast!
Chamrousse has invited you to join us on 7 February 2024 for a live radio broadcast from Grenoble's mountain and ski resort, hosted by Nelly Gautier, Alain Salomon and Christophe Chardon from France Bleu Isère.
On the programme: a family-oriented radio programme "Bienvenue chez vous" and "Ça va buller " with games to win ski passes, guests and micro-trottoir interviews at the end of the morning + at the end of the afternoon the radio programme "Camp de base" with sportsmen and women and adventurers from the resort.
Programme Tour of the Isère mountains
The presenters from France Bleu Isère (FBI to their friends) are coming to you in Isère, here to meet you in Chamrousse. For this special day, they've set up in the lobby of the Tourist Office, as close as possible to where holidaymakers are welcomed and entertained.
Nelly Gautier will be taking you to the Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin snow front, to meet the children who have come to the resort for their Wednesday ski outing or for a special holiday, whileAlain Salomon will be experimenting live with the world's longest pylon zip line. And together they conduct the guest interviews:
- Christopher Hardy - Director of the Chamrousse Tourist Office: accompany you throughout the programme and help you win ski passes.
- Richard Llorca - Head of Events and Activities at the Tourist Office: presents the programme of holiday activities and major highlights in the resort
- Laurie Hernandez - Savon Doux Voyage craftswoman: talks to you about local know-how, her great adventure in the production of local soaps and a designer shop, the Chamrousse crafts association (LACIM), and the markets of local craftsmen and producers.
- Lauriane Poche - head of the cultural department at Chamrousse Town Hall: tells you that the resort is not just about skiing, but also about a whole range of cultural activities, with the library and games library, the cinema, the heritage and environment centre and their events and/or exhibitions.
- Williams Fluhr - snow expert: takes you to the heart of the ski area and the production of artificial snow with the management of snow guns, accompanied by Frédéric Géromin (director of the Chamrousse ski lift company).
- Théo Thiennard - ski club instructor: explains the importance of youth and sport, particularly skiing in Chamrousse
- Alexandre Nakle - restaurant le Chalet: talks about mountain cuisine, bistronomic dishes, suggestions inspired by the world and local produce
Base Camp programme
A more intimate format with host and mountain specialist Christophe Chardon, who shares the sporting stories of Chamrousse's champions and mountain adventurers:
- Nano Pourtier - former coach of the French mogul skiing team - talks about his career as a freestyle skiing champion in the 80s, and his passion for the sport as manager of the national mogul skiing, bobsleigh and ice hockey teams.
- Ninon Dapoigny - figure skating champion: tells you about her life as ahopeful for women's figure skating, with her daily journeys back and forth in an incredible setting between the resort and the valley to train at the Grenoble ice rink, the birthplace of the Olympics
- Philippe Halot - local boy and mountain guide: explains his passion for mountain sports, in particular climbing, with a guidebook of Chamrousse routes in preparation and the resort's speed champion Pierre Rebreyend.
- Marion Haerty - three-time freeride snowboard world champion: shares her career as a top-level sportswoman, which began on the slopes of Chamrousse and its snowpark, before taking off for the world's best freeride spots.
- Basile Bunoz - cross-country skiing champion: talks about the Arselle plateau as the resort's emblematic venue for Nordic activities in Chamrousse, the creation of his Astrangale team (named after their favourite and most challenging ski run in the Nordic area) and year-round training with the ski wheel for the summer version.
- Stéphane L'Homme - coach of the French water skiing team: reveals that there is a water ski lift at Chamrousse for the summer season on the Lac de la Grenouillère for water skiing, but also wakeboarding and kneeboarding.
