- Fun fact: she was born in Colmar (far from the high mountains and snowparks) but she grew up close to Grenoble.
Marion began the snowboard in Chamrousse when she was 10. Then, she turned towards competition at 14 in boardercross (jumps and bumps on the snow park), in slopestyle (acrobatic descent) and later in freeride (off-road).
Marion Haerty has known her first experiences of slide in the Chamrousse Club and quickly get passionate for the snowboard.
Then, she tried the freeride discipline and link the competitions until becoming one of the best woman champion of this spectacular sport. On her snowboard, this professional rider hurtles down the vertiginous faces of the entire world (Switzerland, Alaska, Japan…) realizing jumps and figures in the powder in the middle of rocky bars and crevices.
Each year, she comes to Chamrousse to meet with the girls from the snowboard club.
