Is the accommodation I see online available?

Accommodation availabilities appear in real time on our online booking website "Chamrousse Reservation"!

What services can I add to my accommodation booking?

By choosing accommodation by "Chamrousse Reservation" booking center, it is possible to add different services at preferential rates, such as:
  • Alpine skipass and cross-country skiing pass
  • Collective alpine ski or snowboard lessons
  • Rental of alpine ski and snowboard equipment
  • Linen rental (for accommodation offered by private landlords)
  • Snowmobiling outings
  • Loan of childcare equipment (on reservation and subject to availability)

When do I have to pay the balance of my reservation?

At the latest, the balance of your reservation must be paid 30 days before your arrival date.
Otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the reservation (without refund of the deposit).

What are the possible payment methods?

It is possible to pay our resservation by:
  • Credit card: when booking online on our website "en.chamrousse.com"
  • French Cheque: payable to the "Trésor Public"
  • French Holiday vouchers: registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt, with a declaration of the market value at the time of posting at the post office, strongly recommended
  • French Connect holiday vouchers
  • Bank transfer: on request, we will provide you with the necessary bank details.
  • Cash: only at the Booking Center office in Chamrousse Tourist Office 1650 - Recoin.

What are the booking terms?

Once you have chosen your accommodation, "Chamrousse Reservation" booking Center asks you to:
  • Pay a deposit of 30% of the amount of the reservation
  • Pay the balance of your stay no later than 30 days before your arrival date
Upon receipt of the payment of your deposit, you will receive the booking contract by email.
If your reservation is made within 30 days of your arrival date, you must pay for the entire reservation.

What are the additional costs to add to the price of the accommodation?

In addition to the price of the accommodation, the following additional management costs must be added:
  • Application fee: €10 (between €2 and €5 for camper van pitches)
  • Tourist tax per night and per adult:
    - For accommodation by private owners and for pitches at the camper van area of Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger: automatically applied to each accommodation reservation.
    - For accommodation managed by residences or real estate agencies: tourist tax does not appear on your file but will be payable on the spot on your arrival at the accommodation provider, at the time of keys’ reception of your accommodation.
  • Cancellation insurance (optional):  2.6% of the amount of your reservation (except booking fees and tourist tax). It should be added to your reservation before your payment.
  • Deposit: it's to be paid to the host or his representative, on your arrival in Chamrousse, at the time of accommodation keys delivery.

What is the amount of the deposit?

When you book accommodation (and services), the amount of the deposit to be paid corresponds to 30% of the amount of your file. It will then be deducted from the remaining balance for your stay in Chamrousse.

What to do if you arrive late?

If your arrival takes place outside the hours stipulated in your contract, please contact the service provider in charge of your arrival.

What are the arrival details / key delivery?

On arrival, go to the address indicated on your booking contract in "Advices" to collect the keys of your accommodation and give the deposit.
