P2 team: Nicolas Perrier and David Picard
Presentation
Crazy cross-country skiers
- Discipline: cross-country skiing
- Sports Federation: French Ski Federation (FFS)
- Prize: 3rd au X3 of Courchevel (bike competition, running and alpinism ski)
- Fun fact: they are monitors in the School of skiing (ESF) of Chamrousse but also coaches of the Ski Nordic Belledonne Chamrousse (SNBC).
The two cross-country David Picard and Nicolas Perrier are two lovers of the cross-country and two passionate of mountains who dusted off and renewed the genre.
Two athletes who has, each and together, a beautiful prize list during the team runs: several time winners in the general classification of the nocturnes of the Chartreuse, 3rd in the X3 of Courchevel and 5th in the Big Crossing of Jura.
Their favourite playground? The beautiful Nordic Park of Chamrousse 1600 – the Arselle plateau! The slopes of Nordic ski of the Arselle: their training place, the off-road around the Arselle: their place of fun and the off-road in Chamrousse and Belledonne: their place for escape.
Completes and accomplished athletes in winter with the cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski touring but also, in summer, with the trail, biking and hiking…
Several caps, several passions, several professions but a mountain, a way of life, a source of inspiration in everyday life!
The P2 Team, fan of mountain and innovation, has imported in Chamrousse a run which came from Norway, which combines alpine ski and cross-country skiing: the Down’ Up!
Nicolas and David had also created in 2019 the movie "The cross-country skiing, why not?", in order to promote the cross-country skiing in all its forms and to develop its playful aspect. Nothing is too crazy to dust the image of Nordic skiing: from the alpine ski with cross-country skis, alpine ski with the same thinners and more fragilis slats than big skis… In short, their creativity is based on a commitment rarely seen in the cross-country skiing.
