The Seiglières, a protected educational site.
On the road that leads to Chamrousse, a small quiet pond hides at more than 1000 meters above sea level in the heart of the Seiglières forest.
It leads to a preserved and exceptional landscape to discover and especially to know to better appreciate and respect it.
The fauna and flora are diverse: butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, toad and bats coexist near ferns of the swamp.

For families, walking tours are offered to discover this exceptional environment. In autumn, it is also the ideal place for picking mushrooms in the woods.
The restaurant "L'Auberge des Seiglières" allows you to enjoy the mountain air on the terrace while dining there after a walk.

The Seiglières swamp is part of the Natural Sensitive Area (ENS) of the Seiglières with the hot swamps.
