The Alpine classique is an annual gathering of gentlemen skiers, a rendezvous for enthusiasts/collectors of old machines and winter sports.

Chamrousse goes retro for a weekend for the 10th edition in 2026!
This unique event brings together hundreds of enthusiasts of old machinery (cars, motorcycles, scooters) and vintage skiing every year.
It's an opportunity to relive the history of winter sports for a weekend, from the first hesitant tracks of the pioneers of the 30s, to the more modernist and sharpened style of the late 60s.
GENERAL PUBLIC:
Dress code: in order to experience this journey back in time, we invite participants to respect a coherent dress code with both ski and evening wear having to be period (pre-1969) or inspired by it.
Spectator - free access :
- vintage village (Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday until 4 p.m.)
- skating rink evening (Friday evening)
- vintage car convoy rally (Sunday morning)
Participation - fee and registration required:
- vintage slalom with ski pass (Saturday afternoon)
- swing dance classes (Saturday and Sunday lunchtime)
- festive evening (Saturday evening)

THURSDAY late afternoon: installation
FRIDAY
- 10am-12pm: exhibitors welcome and village set-up
- 12pm-6pm: village opening
- 7-9pm: Welcome Ice Party at the ice rink (skating and field hockey match)
SATURDAY
- 9am: village opening
- 10am: convoy of vintage vehicles departs Chamrousse for the "Seiglières" site
- 10am-11am: coffee break at Les Seiglières
- 11am-11.30am: departure of motorcycles from Les Seiglières on the road back to Chamrousse
- 12pm: activities (tobogganing, skating, hiking, dance classes, etc.) or free skiing, including 1st session of dance classes (1pm-4pm)
- 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: vintage slalom on the Aiguille slope
- 5.30pm: toboggan races
- 8pm-2am: festive evening with meal and concert in the Salle Polyvalente (under the Tourist Office)
SUNDAY
- 9am: village opening
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: classic car and motorcycle gathering and exhibition / snowshoeing on Lac Achard
- 10am - 2pm: activities (tobogganing, skating, hiking, dance classes, flea market...) or free skiing, including 2nd session of dance classes (12pm - 2pm)
- 2:30 - 4pm: prize-giving ceremony
- 4pm: village closes
