Chamrousse paid winter parking zones

During the winter season from end December to end March (Winter 2024-2025: December, 21st 2024 to March 23rd 2025), there are two paid parking zones on the Chamrousse snow front from 8am to 6pm:
- at Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger on Père Tasse avenue, just after the Motel building as far as the Bachat bridge (at the foot of the Écrin chairlift). Caution: from the motel to the shopping centre, day parking only (prohibited on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday days).
- at Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin from Henry Duhamel place to Gaboureaux place, at the junction with Gentianes street on the La Croix gondola side.

Price

  • One day: €5
  • Week (7 consecutive days): €30
  • Season ticket: €90 for residents / €180 for non-residents for one car
  • Disabled person (PMR): free of charge
    Fine for failure to park (FSP): €30
     

Payment

Choice of zones: "38410" for Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger / "38411" for Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin
- Payment at the terminals: credit card and change (no ticket)
- Payment by mobile phone with the PaybyPhone and PrestoPark applications: remember to set up the applications (SMS and reminders).

Your vehicle number plate is recorded. There is no need to put a ticket in your car.
Two geographical zones are defined, but you can move your vehicle from one zone to another during your parking period. Please note that paying for parking does not entitle you to a space if you have moved your vehicle. Paying for parking does not prevent you from being fined for parking in the way: check that you are not obstructing the way, and that the space where you wish to park is suitable for the length of your vehicle.
Disabled parking is free: the car's number plate must be registered on the application or pay station (choose zone 38412).

Subscription
Please go directly to the Town Hall with proof of address, if necessary, to validate and open your rights: open every Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 4pm from November. If you change your car during the season, let the Town Hall know and they will switch the subscription to the new plate.
 

Terminal

There are 8 pay stations located near the pay car parks:
  • Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger at the main car park (P3 - 390 Père Tasse street) with 5 payment terminals:
    • 3 pay stations at the shopping centre: one towards each end and one in the middle (towards the La Cheminée restaurant, the Skilead hire shop and the Sherpa supermarket),
    • 1 terminal after the Panoramic building,
    • 1 terminal towards the Écrin chairlift.
  • Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin at the Henry Duhamel car park (P7 - Henry Duhamel avenue) and the car park at the Gondola with 3 payment terminals:
    • 1 pay station between the Jonquilles and Chamois buildings,
    • 1 pay station near the VFD bus building and the luggage lockers,
    • 1 terminal under the Tourist Office on the gondola side.
