Chamrousse big zip line project

The largest zipline in France:
  • Departure: Croix de Chamrousse (access via the Croix gondola)
  • Arrival: Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin
  • Length: about 2 km
  • Difference in height: about 550 m
  • Slope: on average 30%.
  • Commissioning: from summer 2023
  • Company: MND Leisure, for the Chamrousse ski lift company
Thrills guaranteed!
The zipline will run parallel to the line of the Croix de Chamrousse gondola and will fly over a large part of the mountain and ski area. It will fly from 30 m to 60 m over the Olympic Men's and Women's slopes.
Objective: to offer a complementary activity to skiing in winter and a new experience in summer!
The project will be previewed at the Mountain Planet trade show in Grenoble at the end of April 2022, with an innovation in the pulley that will allow you to pass the pylons without becoming detached and to arrive safely at a controlled speed.
This is a major project for the resort which, far from resting on its glorious Olympic past of 1968, is also taking the turn to diversify its tourist activities.
