Presentation
Night-time duo relay cross-country ski race: free technique, on a lighted loop. Open to all aged 7 and over. Disguises strongly recommended (but not mandatory)!
Online registration recommended via Helloasso.
Nighttime relay race in teams of two, open style, for all age groups from Mini-Poussins to Seniors.
Schedule:
- Bib pickup and last-minute on-site registration available (note: +5€ fee; online registration recommended)
- Race start: 25-minute race with rankings based on the number of laps, by category.
3 relay formats depending on the category:
· Marmottes Race - “Children” (born 2017–2019): 1 child / 1 adult relay. The child starts and finishes the race; 3 laps for children, 2 laps for adults (adults maintain the gap between the children during their laps).
· Chamois Race – “Youth” (2014–2016): 1 child / 1 adult relay. The youth starts the race; 15-minute race; ranked by number of laps.
· Course des Aigles—3 categories: “Junior” (relay with at least 1 junior born between 2010 and 2013), “Adult” (relay with 2 adults born in 2009 or earlier), and “AS ” (runners with an FFS rating < 300 born in 2009 or earlier): a single 25-minute race, ranked by number of laps, by category.
A classic-style course will be set up. A refreshment stand will be open starting at 5:30 p.m. and will remain open throughout the evening. We’ll be offering our traditional selection of sweet and savory crêpes, mulled wine, and more…
The award ceremonies for the Marmottes and Chamois races will take place before the Aigles race. All other award ceremonies will be held on-site following the final race, including the one for the best costumes.
The “Olivier Pilon” Challenge will be awarded to the most Nordic-style family, and the Most Represented Club Challenge (excluding SNBC).
Rules for the “Olivier Pilon” Challenge: To participate, a relay team must consist of two members of the same family (parents, children, grandparents). In each race, points are awarded to family relay teams (n, n-1… 2, 1 depending on the number of family relay teams in a race). A bonus of 1 point is awarded for each individual family member participating in a race. The family standings will be determined by adding up the points. The “Olivier Pilon” Challenge will be awarded to the family that has accumulated the highest total number of points across the various races.
