Presentation

SPIPOLL exhibition on biodiversity and pollination, i.e. the complex interactions between plants and insects, but also between visitors to the flowers themselves, at the Maison de l'Environnement in Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin.
A 9-panel exhibition offering a fascinating insight into the little-known world of pollinating insects. Through striking photographs and accessible scientific information, this exhibition raises public awareness of the crucial importance of these little creatures in our ecosystems.
The "Suivi Photographique des Insectes POLLinisateurs" (SPIPOLL) is a participatory science program created by the "Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle de Paris" and the "Office pour les insectes et leur environnement" (Opie).
By exploring this exhibition, visitors become aware of the importance of interactions between plants and insects, and the role they can play in preserving local biodiversity. A valuable initiative to make Chamrousse a territory committed to protecting pollinators!

The Museum is at the heart of the Year of Biodiversity dynamic. Through its research, it is one of the organizations providing concrete answers. Making knowledge about nature accessible to all, it is also a vehicle for raising awareness, helping to foster responsible behavior. More than ever, Spipoll is nature's partner. The Spipoll proposes to reconcile these two missions of research and awareness-raising, by offering Museum researchers, via the general public, essential data for understanding issues relating to biodiversity and its preservation.
