Fishing is a leisure activity and a mountain sport.
Reaching the coveted lake has to be earned! Walking on the green slopes or taking the cable car, loaded with a backpack containing fishing equipment, warm clothes and food. It can become a sport, but the reward is there, with always grandiose landscapes, the air is pure, and the view of the lake makes you dream...

The areas for fishing in Chamrousse and nearby are:
  • Mountain lake: Robert lakes (⚠ no fishing allowed in Achard lake)
  • Others: pond Prémol, streams Prémol and Vernon (⚠ no fishing allowed in marsh Seiglières)
Lakes stocked between June and September. Fish: trouts.

Day or week fishing cards on sale fishing permits website - not at the Tourist Office.
Fishing permits:
  • Seasonal permits: day permit or holiday permit (for a week 7 consecutive days)
  • Annual permits: discover permit child -12 years or women (valid for the entire fishing season), adult permit and child or teenager permit
The fishing permits can be used in mountain lakes according to the regulations of 1st category:
- Fishing allowed with one line maximum comprising 3 hooks maximum or 2 artificial flies
- Any fisherman, must have a fishing permit
