Celebrate the total eclipse in Chamrousse on August 12!
"Astrono-Mágico" family show at 4:00 p.m. at L'Arlésienne, followed by a welcome reception at 6:30 p.m. at the gondola station, where sunglasses will be distributed (first 300 guests) and a workshop/lecture on solar observation will be held.
The gondola will be open until 9:30 p.m. (Reduced fare starting at 4:00 p.m.)

A special day dedicated to the total solar eclipse in Chamrousse!
• 4:00 p.m. — “Astrono-Mágico” show (Salle de l’Arlésienne):
If the magic of the sky fills you with wonder, this show is for you! Created in 2011 in Chile by astrophysicist and magician Florian Gourgeot (Flodjo), “Astrono-Mágico” is an astronomy lecture interwoven with magic tricks that captures the beauty of the cosmos in a poetic, playful, and educational way. Embark on a journey through the solar system, the stars, and the galaxies. Come uncover the mysteries of the Universe while defying the laws of physics through dreams and illusion.
• 6:30 p.m. — Welcome reception & distribution of eclipse glasses at the base of the gondola:
Meet at the gondola for a friendly welcome reception and the distribution of special eclipse glasses, offered to the first 300 participants.
• 7:00 p.m. — Lecture & “Sun Observation” Workshop (La Croix de Chamrousse):
Discover the secrets of our star and learn how to safely observe the Sun alongside passionate instructors.
*In case of bad weather: the event will be moved to the Salle de l’Arlésienne with a planetarium show.*

The gondola will run continuously until 9:30 p.m.
Reduced fare starting at 4:00 PM

Additional shuttle service (last departure at 10:00 PM at the gondola station)
