PROGRAM:
- Slackline introductory sessions for children and adults: Friday and Sunday 10 a.m.–12 p.m. / 2 p.m.–5 p.m. + Saturday 10 a.m.–12 p.m. / 2:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Jumpline shows featuring pros who string together spectacular jumps, tricks, and acrobatics: Sunday and Friday at 5:30 p.m. + Saturday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Whether you’re curious, athletic, or just here for the show, everyone is welcome!
Slacklining is a sport similar to tightrope walking that emerged in the 1980s in California (USA); it is said to have been invented by climbers.
Thanks to advances in equipment and the ingenuity of new practitioners, new sub-disciplines have emerged, such as the highline (performed at height while secured by a harness), the longline (walking the greatest possible distance), and the jumpline or trickline (freestyle).
All these developments have helped make the activity more accessible to everyone—whether with family, friends (on lines 15 to 35 meters long), or among experienced practitioners (longlines of 50 meters or more)—so there’s now something for everyone.
