The film "Une journée | Un berger dans les Alpe" is a 48-minute documentary that follows four shepherds for the space of a day, from the alpine pastures of Haut-Bréda to the forests of the Vercors, all converted to this profession out of love for the mountains. Beyond the epinal image, each reveals the profound meaning he gives to his vocation: a link with living beings, management of ecological balances, life on the edge between society and wilderness. This pastoral evening is an opportunity to open a dialogue between hikers, shepherds and the curious about the reality of a demanding profession, the shared spaces of the mountains and the future of pastoralism in the Alps.
