Presentation
As part of the Chamrousse en Piste festival, discover “Marinero” by Le piano du lac: a poetic concert-performance on a floating piano on Lac de la Lauze. A magical, free experience at sunset! Saturday, August 1, at 8 p.m.
The Chamrousse Tourist Office and the town hall’s cultural department are teaming up to offer you a moment of pure, timeless magic. As part of this year’s edition of the Chamrousse en Piste festival, the famous “Piano du Lac” tour is making a stop in the resort to present its floating show: Marinero.
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the public is invited to enjoy a unique and poetic experience at Lac de la Lauze (Roche Béranger). Imagine a grand piano floating on the water, bobbing with the waves, against the backdrop of the lake’s sublime and spectacular view of the surrounding peaks.
Led by pianist Nathalie Morazin and singer Ce Bon Vieux Sam (Samuel Arnoux), Marinero takes the audience on an imaginary and musical journey. Amid waves of notes, poetry brimming with sea spray, and a gentle breeze, the artists drift along on their quirky vessel: the Catapiano, an original creation—the “lake piano.” To the sound of the piano, the accordion, and voices echoing one another, this moment suspended in time promises to leave a lasting impression as the sun sets.
