🪓 Second qualifying round for the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® French Championship
On this occasion, 15 athletes from all over France (Alsace, Burgundy, Corrèze, Occitanie, and Alps) will compete in a series of spectacular events combining power, technique, and precision.
Saturday Program
From 10:00 AM The public can watch the preparations: athlete briefing, wood drawing, equipment preparation, and testing of the impressive hot saws, offering a lively and immersive atmosphere.

- 6:00 PM Competition End
Competitors will compete in the 6 official disciplines in the following order:
1 Springboard (axe on springboard)
2 Stock Saw (standard chainsaw)
3 Standing Block (vertical axe)
4 Single Buck (crosscut saw)
5 Underhand Chop (horizontal axe)
6 Hot Saw (customized chainsaw)
🏆 At the end of this round, only the top 6 competitors will earn their spot for the French Championship Final, which will take place on August 23 in Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines (Alsace).
Sunday Program
Festivities will continue the following day with a friendly competition organized by ABVO and Les Castors du Dimanche, bringing together around fifteen rookies and several female athletes from across France.
