Luitel natural area
10km from Chamrousse, the "réserve naturelle du lac Luitel" was the first natural reserve opened in France and its 17 ha site features all the ecological stages of a sphagnum peat bog. Pathways have been created for visitors to explore the natural environment and charged guided visits are organized in summertime.
Prémol site
A beautiful clearing where you can see the ruins of the former Chartreuse de Prémol (nuns monastery dating back from 1234) that disappeared at the time of Revolution. It is a fresh and pleasant area where it is nice to have a pick-nick. A one-kilometre flat way (the singing trees path) is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Seiglieres swamp
An exceptional and preserved scenery hides around a quiet little pond to needs to be discovered to be bet-ter appreciated. You can access it from a side road off the D 111 at the Seiglières inn.
