Presentation

New: The 1968 Winter Olympics Exhibition Space will open this winter (2026–2027) in the former meteorological building at La Croix de Chamrousse (elevation 2,253 m).
In February 1968, the eyes of the entire world were fixed on our slopes. Jean-Claude Killy won three gold medals, and Marielle Goitschel triumphed in the slalom... It was here, in Chamrousse, that one of the most memorable chapters of the Grenoble Winter Olympics was written.
Discover an exhibition space that reminds us that Chamrousse’s story is still being written today, as it continues to embody the values of sports, pushing boundaries, and passing on the torch.

Find iconic items commemorating the 1968 Winter Olympics anniversary at the Tourist Office shop: pins, keychains, shopping bags, tote bags, books, and more...
