In short

Presentation

Hiking in search of mountain birds in Chamrousse. Exploration of all habitats to find as many Alpine species as possible. Village, mixed and coniferous forest, mountain pastures, peaks, cliffs. An opportunity to share our birding knowledge.

For a half-day or a full day, depending on the species you wish to target, we will adapt the times and locations. Quiet moments will be used to discuss the specific characteristics of the species present. We'll look at issues such as migration, ecological niches and climate change.

Some species present in Chamrousse or regularly observed: Black and boreal chickadees, speckled nutcrackers, crossbills, redpolls, mountain venturons, black grouse, Tengmalm's and little owls, tree and sparrow pipits, alpine niverolles, alder tarins, tichodromes, alpine accenteurs and flycatchers, plastron robins, golden eagles, griffon vultures, black woodpeckers, great spotted woodpeckers, ...
