'La Taverne du Gaulois', a family restaurant with a friendly atmosphere

Our restaurant is a family story that has lasted for over 40 years.
The restaurant La Taverne du Gaulois is accessible via the entrance to the Roche Beranger shopping center or the ski slopes of the Chamrousse 1750 ski resort.

Our priority is to make you spend warm moments as a couple, with family, with friends or even during your group meals with our mountain specialties and our all-inclusive menus.
We offer traditional cuisine and gourmet breaks in non-stop service to meet your every need throughout the day.

In the morning, to start the day well, have breakfast in the sun, on the terrace by the ski slopes.

At noon, if you are addicted to the slopes, enjoy a gourmet break between two descents and taste our homemade dishes of the day, tartiflette, snack, wood-fired pizzas to make
full of energy!
In the afternoon, let yourself be tempted by a well-deserved snack and discover our Viennese chocolates or cappuccinos with a mountain of whipped cream or a traditional mulled wine. A menu of various drinks is also at your disposal.

In the evening, enjoy an authentic mountain dinner placed under the sign of sharing and pleasure, through our different specialties and our unmissable "Gaulois Menu" (stone grill AND raclette at will).

At any time of the day we offer a wide choice of wood-fired pizzas prepared by us in front of you.

To allow you to bring a bit of your favorite restaurant home, our dishes are also available for take-out.
