A new extreme adventure in Chamrousse: frozen bathing without a wetsuit in 1°C water at Robert Lakes.

In Chamrousse, at the gateway to the high mountains, frozen lake bathing offers a unique sensory experience. Plunge into the crystal-clear waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks, experiencing an icy, invigorating interlude in the heart of majestic nature. An immersive adventure that combines the thrill of the cold with the beauty of the Alpine landscape.

Professionally supervised activity: 30 minutes (equipment + briefing + bath). Between noon and 1pm, places limited to 3 people.
30 euros per session.
Equipment supplied: harness + rope.
Bring swimsuit and towel + warm clothes.
Medical certificate required

Opening periodFrom 15/12 to 14/04, daily between 12 pm and 1 pm.
2 x 30-minute slots. Reservations required.

Subject to favorable weather. Postponed in case of bad weather. On demand.

Additional welcomeTo get there, take the La Croix gondola to Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin and buy a round-trip pedestrian pass at 11€/adult or 8.5€/child or youth (winter 2023-24 price list).
Be sure to tell the lift ticket office that you are going to Robert Lakes for a Dive Xtreme activity.
