Saturday with the team sprint race and Sunday with the individual event:
- individual: the ultimate ski mountaineering event, with at least three ascents and three descents and a passage with skis carried on the pack[2]. The course has a vertical drop of between 1,300 and 1,500 for senior women and between 1,500 and 1,900 for senior men.
- sprint: a short discipline lasting around 3 to 4 minutes. This physical event brings together all the techniques of ski mountaineering: ascent, portage and descent, with several passages in zones enabling rapid transitions from ascent to descent. This is a "long" relay sprint.
