You’ve reached or earned the Second Star level.

With your Third Star, you’ll start to experience some amazing sensations on the snow.

Mastering turns and skiing at full speed are the foundation for future great skiing adventures!

Here are your challenges:

• chain together several turns of varying tightness between poles, keeping your skis parallel, while paying attention to what’s happening around you (other skiers, the terrain of the run, etc.),
• maintain your balance while skiing straight down the slope (i.e., facing the slope head-on) on various types of terrain: bumps, dips, etc.,
• gain speed and then slow down by skidding,
• perform “festons”: a series of sideways skids interspersed with straight runs across the slope.
