A sporting event in support of the Fondation Maladies Rares, at Chamrousse aux lacs Robert at an altitude of around 2000 m.

Organized by apneist Christophe Jobazé, founder of Apnée Solid'Air and ambassador for Vaincre la mucoviscidose.
As part of World Rare Disease Day, we are delighted to welcome you to an exceptional challenge: under-ice apnea series, during which several banners of rare disease patient associations will be displayed.
Program:
- 10:15am: briefing for associations and partners and safety briefing - RDV at Chamrousse 1650 Tourist Office - Recoin
- 11am: departure for La Croix gondola lift
- 12pm: presence at the Dive Xtrême ice diving site at Lacs Robert
- 1 p.m.: under-ice freediving challenge after a team of Échirolles firefighters joins the site (start of warm-up dives and series of dives lasting around 30 minutes).
- Closing speeches
Films of this challenge on the surface and underwater + all visuals will be donated to patient associations to develop their communication for the benefit of the events they organize, and thus give them greater visibility in their commitments to medical and scientific research.
By "Apnée Solid'Air", an association under the law of 1901, organizes numerous apnea events and challenges.
Its commitment aims to :
- promote medical and scientific research (diagnostic aids, innovative therapies) in the field of rare diseases, and organ donation.
- raise public awareness of the work done by patient associations in support of research.
This challenge is part of a Tour de France in apnea, with the ultimate aim of obtaining :
* recognition as a major national cause for rare diseases, to promote medical and scientific research into these diseases, and
* recognition as a major regional cause for rare disabilities linked to rare diseases.
