The Association de Défense des Habitants et de l'Environnement de Chamrousse (ADHEC) aims to promote and safeguard the historical and landscape heritage of Chamrousse and the surrounding area, as well as its natural environment, flora and fauna.

But also to defend the commune's inhabitants against pollution, landscape and urban development of all kinds.

Fields of action and study: spring (thawing of Robert lakes, marmot, flowering, orchid, spruce), autumn (history, mushroom, flower, protection), fauna (animals in winter, animal tracks, birds in winter, stray dog, ibex at Les Vans, etc.), flora (protected flower, cembro pine forest - cembraie), geology, agriculture (protected flower, cembro pine forest - cembraie).
