In 2023, the mountain wishes you well, a new year has arrived and invites you to enjoy the mountain as a source of joy, skiing as a source of pleasure & Chamrousse as a place for sharing.And to do this, Chamrousse is pleased to reveal the secret of the best places to take beautiful souvenir photos of the resort. The proof is in the pictures, with the most beautiful photos of the resort's adventurers on Instagram (#chamrousse).
Chamrousse 2250 - Croix de Chamrousse
This is the spot of Chamrousse, the summit of the resort with a 360° view on Grenoble, capital of the Alps, and its 3 mountains (Vercors, Chartreuse and Belledonne, of which Chamrousse is at the southern tip of the massif. Not so secret, but a must!Spots at 2250 meters of altitude:
- Crêtes: panoramic view of the Grenoble valley and the Vercors mountain opposite (all seasons)
- Oisans belvedere: mountain view of the Oisans massif (all seasons)
- Restaurant terrace: snack or meal in the restaurant de la Croix with a view of the Grenoble valley (winter and summer)
- Himalayan footbridge and Belledonne viewpoint: vertiginous crossing, view of the Grésivaudan valley and Belledonne mountain [new from summer 2023] (summer, closed in winter)
- Rooftop: view of the city of Grenoble and the Grésivaudan valley, Vercors and Chartreuse massifs, giant zip line view [new from summer 2023] (summer, closed in winter)
Access:
- paying: La Croix gondola from Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin, in winter (December to mid-April) and summer (July-August)
- free: on foot from Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger, all year round (in winter only with snowshoes or ski touring via dedicated routes)
Webcams:
- Croix de Chamrousse: a high definition image to be able to admire the starry sky at night
- Crêtes: replay of sunrises and sunsets and give you a taste

The main and family centre of your holidays in the resort, with chalets and above all a central building integrating an emblematic shopping centre, with a tourist information office.- Lauze lake: reflection of the sky and the mountain (all seasons)

Chamrousse 1700 - Bachat Bouloud
A restored children's village and an ideal area for ski beginners and new mountain adventurers.- Ski slopes or hiking trails in the forest: a magical and fun moment surrounded by fir trees (all year round)
- Villages du Bachat residences: mountain architecture with wooden building and beautiful terrace (all year round)

Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin
A resort steeped in history, with the departure station of the old cable car restored as a ski lift office and the Men's and Women's Olympic ski runs emblematic of the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games.- Aiguille col/Casserousse top: view of the resort, #Chamrousse sign and paragliding departure (all season, winter access on skis only)
- Olympic statue: mountain view, gondola departure and Chamrousse Cross in the background (all season)

Chamrousse 1600 - Arselle plateau
A little corner of paradise off the beaten track with a small Canada look, a small flat plain bordered by mountains and fir trees, a peaceful and intimate place, a bit like a secret to share, but also to protect...- Plateau: view of the Taillefer massif (all seasons)
- Forest: view of the clearing of cembro pines and the plateau below (all seasons)
- Starry night: view of the sky, its stars and its milky way (all seasons)
- Animals: ponies in summer and draught horses for the carriage or even sled dogs in winter (summer and winter)
