ESF 1750 - 3rd Star for Children Ages 6-12: AFTERNOON

You’ve reached or earned the Second Star level.

With your Third Star, you’ll start to experience some amazing sensations on the snow.

Mastering turns and skiing at full speed are the foundation for future great skiing adventures!

Here are your challenges:

• String together several turns—some tighter, some looser—between poles, keeping your skis parallel, while paying attention to your surroundings (other skiers, the terrain of the run, etc.),
• master your balance while skiing straight down the slope (i.e., facing the slope head-on) on various types of terrain: bumps, dips, etc.,
• build up speed and then slow down by skidding,
• perform “festons”: a series of sideways skids interspersed with straight runs across the slope.

Schedule:

• Christmas and New Year’s Break (December 20, 2026, to January 3, 2027): 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Winter Break (February 7, 2027, to March 7, 2027): 2:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
