A walk with a gentle start taking the Nordic ski runs before going into the forest and rising to Achard lake.
⚠ Warning: the Arselle plateau is a protected area (peat bog classified as APPB - ''Arrêtés Préfectoraux de Protection Biotope''), so there are a few rules to respect to help protect it. Fire, wild camping, picking and dumping of waste are strictly forbidden and bivouacking is forbidden during the peak season between 15 June and 15 September. Please stay on the path around it, it is forbidden to go on the plateau in order to preserve the fragile environments.
☆ Little extra: "Hiking star" a medal for children in summer too!
Showing us a picture taken during their hike, courageous little walkers will be awarded a diploma with their name + silver star "Achard lake" on sale (2.50€ at the Tourist Offices) to wear proudly on the backpack.

Pets allowed only during summer: dogs are allowed on all trails on a leash (please avoid taking them to the Arselle plateau, which is a sensitive natural area). The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

Resort road access from Grenoble: Rocade Sud > exit no. 2 "Uriage" > Route départementale 111 (RD 111) on the Luitel side.
Park along the road, then take the pedestrian link from the lower or upper parking lot (approx. 20-minute walk) - only bus access.
