One of Chamrousse's finest downhill and mountain bike trails, with magnificent views over the Grenoble valley. It is accessible to beginners and covers most of the resort's negative vertical drop.

Easy downhill mountain bike trail (green level) in Chamrousse 1650.
Start: top of La Croix cable car from Chamrousse 1650 (2250m)
Arrival: Chamrousse 1750 - Bérangère chairlift
Duration: 13 minutes

The "blanchon" is named after the mountain hare, an emblematic species of the Alps. A discreet nocturnal animal, white in winter and brown in summer, the "blanchon" leaves clues to its presence: tracks, droppings, browsing on vegetation...

The green downhill mountain bike track in Chamrousse for beginners on a specially prepared course.
Downhill bikes and scooters are allowed on the green (and blue) trails, where you don't need to take your wheels off the ground.

Easy level: no special skills are required. However, you should already have used your mountain bike. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
