Oursière waterfall - "la Gafe": 2,7km (55min).

Between mountain streams and lakes, don't miss the Oursière waterfall. A beautiful hike that takes you to the foot of this 80m-high waterfall. Take advantage of the cool, sparkling waters to stop for a rest before heading back to the resort (2h30 uphill to reach the Robert lakes, then 1h30 to reach the resort).

Alternatively, you can go back down to Seiglières (allow around 2h) > INFORMATION FROM AUGUST 25 2023: Due to an unstable rockfall, the trail between the "Seiglières" or "La Gafe" lower parking lot and the Cascade de l'Oursière will be closed by municipal by-law from August 25 2023 until further notice.

Pets allowed: dogs are allowed in the summer on all trails on a leash as well as in the gondola. The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

Road access from Grenoble: Rocade Sud > exit no. 2 "Uriage" > Route départementale 111 (RD 111) on the Seiglières side.
Recommended parking: parking Henry Duhamel (P7), avenue Henry Duhamel (200 meters and about 2 minutes' walk from the gondola).

Access from Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin via the La Croix gondola.

Public transport - Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin stop:
- regional bus line T87 (to/from Grenoble), stop "Chamrousse 1650".
- seasonal bus lines [summer]: Estibus 707 (to/from Grenoble), stop "CHAMROUSSE LE RECOIN VFD".
Good to know - another stop less than 500m away (Place de Belledonne, near the Tourist Office):
- resort shuttle: "Télécabine (1650)" stop (to/from Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger and Chamrousse 1600 - plateau de l'Arselle/nordic area)
- transport on demand (TAD) TouGo - line G701 to/from Uriage: "Chamrousse - Le Recoin" stop

For the return journey, if you wish to go back down to Les Seiglières and take the bus to Grenoble: T87 regional bus (to/from Grenoble), "Seiglières" stop and Estibus 707 (to/from Grenoble), "Seiglières" stop.
