This walk is suitable for small children and will please the whole family.
In a wonderful setting you will come across Lake Achard and its magnificent view of the Taillefer mountain range. Take the time to stop for a while and enjoy the silence, take in the view and discover the many wonders nature has to offer: centuries-old pines, crossbills, houseleeks, cobwebs…

Lake Achard is located in the Natura 2000 area. Making fire, setting a tent, fishing and swimming are striclty forbidden (under penalty). Bivouac is allowed, from sunset to sunrise.
Please, stay on trails to protect fragile areas.

Pets allowed: Dogs are allowed in the summer on all trails on a leash. The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog.
