Along the ascent, don’t forget to turn back to gaze at the outstanding view of the Vercors mountain range and the Grenoble valley. You are likely to see ski lifts personnel perched onto pylons for the maintenance of cableways or the shepherd and his flock.

Pets allowed: dogs are allowed in the gondola in the summer as well as on all trails on a leash (please avoid taking them to the Arselle plateau, which is a sensitive natural area). The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog. However, you can meet some in the Pra sector.
